Here are some tips to help you slay phantom power this holiday season:
Big screen TV’s are the biggest culprit, ensure they are OFF
Don’t use a screen saver, instead, unplug your computer or monitor
Switch off lights
Unplug kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee maker, kettle)
Use a self-timed power bar to group together electronics and have them automatically shut down- for effortless savings
Unplug chargers for cellphones and tablets
Unplug/dispose of unnecessary electronics (extra fridge, photocopier/printer)
